Bohemian Pilsner and Angry Hank's Blonde Ale

During the two days' travel east crossing Montana, we stopped in Billings, returning to the KOA just south of town.  After we stumbled upon Überbrew, we asked the bartender for help finding Angry Hank's. 

Angry Hank's new location (no wonder we couldn't find it) is on the edge of downtown and an area where many of the older buildings are getting a fresh look.  In fact, it is next door to Thirsty Street, which we visited last year, and Hank's was definitely not there in 2020. Hank's has a nice indoor space as well as outdoor seating.  The place was pretty full, with a good buzz about it.  We also noticed most of the patrons were - shall we say - well over 21.  Ambiance gets a 3.

The brewery has a smaller selection, yet still a wide variety of flavors.  I had the Bohemian Pilsner and Tim had Angry Hank's Blonde Ale.  He rated it 3.50 out of 5 in his Untapped App.  Selection gets a 3.

There are not really individual images on the beer chalkboard for each brew, however the crowlers do have some branding.  They charged $1 for stickers.  They had only a few t-shirts and a hat for merchandise, but their website shows more, so probably still growing their inventory.  Their website is decent, with photos of the regular beers in the same Angry Hank's glass.  There is an Angry Hank's Instagram site, it's pretty active but no real design strategy.  Branding gets a 2.

All pints are $3 (seasonals may be higher), cash only (there is an ATM on site).  THIS IS AMAZING.  That's probably why there were so many seniors - we love a great deal!  Price gets a 4.
