During our week in Tucson we started our brewery tour with Blackrock Brewers. Blackrock is in an industrial park and has a simple exterior, a nice indoor space but no outdoor seating. It was very quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. In fact the only employee was using the bathroom when we arrived and we were not sure there was anyone there but us. Ambiance gets a 2.
Blackrock had 13 brews on tap, a bit heavy on the ale side for our tastes. We both ended up with the Beezelbeery, which Tim rated a 3.75/5 in Untapped. Selection gets a 3.
There are no individual images or branding for their brews and no theme as far as the names. Blackrock's website is pretty minimal with barely any images, and while their Instagram is active it definitely could use some design work. We saw barely any merchandise and their very basic sticker was .50. Branding gets a 2.
We paid $7 for a pint, which seems a little high but is similar to other breweries in the area. Price gets a 3.
