Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Inver Grove Brewing

Inver Grove Brewing: Inver Grove Heights, MN

Yawntalk Pink Guava and Knee High Cream Ale

Inver Grove Brewing is located just off Highway 55 in what appears to be a fairly new structure, with a great indoor space featuring a bar as well as a dining area, and a nice outdoor space. We visited at about 2 in the afternoon on a Thursday and it was pretty busy.  They have a 'Wall of Fur' as you enter.  Super Cute.  Atmosphere gets a 4.

Inver Grove Brewing has a great selection with a wide variety of taps. I had the Yawntalk Pink Guava, a delightful sour, and Tim had the Knee High Cream Ale which he rated as 3.25/5 on on Untappd.  Selection gets a 4.

This is the first time I've seen a virtual tour on a brewery's website.  I like it!  However, their tap list simply goes to Untappd, loosing the opportunity for images and branding on their website.  While they do have some interesting tap names, there are no individual images for the taps.  Their instagram focuses on the food, hardly anything on the beer.  They had a small selection of basic merchandise and an interesting, free sticker.  Branding gets a 2.

We paid $7 for the Cream Ale pint and $8 for the Guava Sour.  We also and ordered food from their menu, including roasted cauliflower (it was soggy) and a Thai Salad.  The prices are a little high, but typical of the Twin Cities.  Price gets a 3.
