Rare Form Brewery: Troy, New York

Rare Form Brewery is in a cute little indoor space in an older section of Troy, NY. The exposed brick and wood finishings were very nice, with a very friendly staff. Ambiance gets a 3, even though we didn't feel completely safe walking the three blocks from our parking space.
Rare Form has a imited selection, with only nine taps, yet there was something for everyone. Tim and I both had the Pear & Pineapple Sour. I enjoyed it very much and Tim rated as 3.25/5 in Untapped. Selection gets a 3.
Rare Form has some interesting imagery on their website and on their merchandise, giving off a nostalgic, 70's kinda vibe. Some of the regular brews have their own images, again with a groovy, minalmist look. The sticker was $2. Overall, a decent start to their branding, which gets a 3.
Price 4 sample flight $12, 16 oz sour $7 average for the area. Price gets a 3.
