Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Verde Brewing Company

Verde Brewing Company; Camp Verde, AZ

Gold Bucket - a Blonde Ale and Very Berry, a sour

While staying about an hour north of Phoenix in Camp Verde, we visited Verde Brewing Company.  Verde Brewing is located in an industrial park area, with excellent signage.  Great outdoor space with a view of the Sonoma hills.  A larger family was having lunch inside - and it smelled really good.  Verde does have a small menu and nachos are half off on Thursday! Ambiance gets a 3.

Selection is somewhat limited, however wide variety.  I had the Gold Bucket - a Blonde Ale which was quite refreshing after a 2 hour hike.  Tim had Very Berry, a sour he rated 4/5 in Untapped. Selection gets a 2.

Branding for Verde Brewing is very limited.  There is no individual beer branding.  In fact their cans are simply two different shades of green ("verde" is green in Spanish).  Very limited selection of merchandise.  Their website appears to be current, with interesting imagery, and I actually found two Instagram accounts - one appears to be old and the second one with some interesting images.  Even their sticker is pretty simple. Branding gets a 2.

My blonde was $6 for a pint, pint of the sour was $8.  Average pricing so warrants a 3.
