Superior Bathhouse Brewery: Hot Springs, AR
During our winter 2024 travel, we stopped in Hot Springs, AR to take in the National Park. After a decently strenuous hike we stopped in at Superior Bathhouse Brewery, the only brewery in a US National Park and only in the world to utilize thermal spring water in their beer. Our server was very nice and shared the story of Steve, the ground hog who lived on the grounds. Once they saw that Steve had babies, they renamed her Stevie. Awww. Atmosphere gets a 4.
Superior has 18 taps and a very wide variety of options. I had the Spicy Ride, a jalapeno infused ale, the best spicy beer I've ever had. Tim opted for the Basic Peaches (hopped peach sour) and the Spring Training Selection, a Blonde Ale, which he rated 4/5 and 2.75/5 respectively on Untappd. Selection gets a 4.
Superior Bathhouse Brewery has some great imagery, however not at the individual tap level. There's some amazing history on their nicely crafted website, and their instagram has some great photos. Superior had a decent amout of merchandise with a good selection of stickers. We had to get the ground hog one, and we paid $2. Branding gets a 2.
Our taps were $6 and $7, average for the area so Price gets a 3.
