Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Bubba Brew’s

Bubba Brew’s: Hot Springs, AR

Bubba's Dirty Blonde and  Bubba’s Bloodhound Blood Orange Pale Ale

During our winter 2024 travel, we stopped in Hot Springs, AR to take in the National Park.  On a rainy day, we found our way to Bubba Brew's, a huge lakeside restaurant and brewery.  It has a huge indoor space as well as a wonderful outdoor deck.  Given it had snowed earlier in the day, it was a fun place to sit and chat for a few hours, and I can't imagine how crazy it is in the summer.  Atmosphere gets a 4.

Bubba Brew’s has a good mix of rotating taps, with a fairly large selection and a few taps not even on the menu.  I had the a Bubba's Dirty Blonde which I found tasty, and Tim had a Bubba’s Bloodhound Blood Orange Pale Ale which he rated as 3.25/5 on Untappd.  Selection gets a 4.

Bubba Brew's is indeed a brewery, but focuses more on the food and the lakeside vibe.  I don't believe they have a dedicated website for the brewery, and their merchandise is all for the Bubba Brew's Restaurant with it's own branding.  Their Instagram page, while branded as the brewery (see the sticker below) shows mostly the food served at the restaurant. I did find a line up of their cans with imagery online, but struggled to find those great images anywhere else in the building or online.  Free sticker.  Branding gets a 2.

Our taps were super cheap, at just $3 and $3.  Price gets a 4.  Overall a great place, and I'd love to see it in the summer!
