Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Mr Grumpy Pants Brewing Co.

Mr Grumpy Pants Brewing Co.: Ouray, CO

Summer Wheat Ale

During our stay in Montrose, CO we ventured about an hour south to check out the town of Ouray, CO, known as the Switzerland of the US.  Cute town, great shops, and in the center of town we found Ouray Brewing, which just happened to be closed that day due to staffing issues.  We then stumbed upon Mr. Grumpy Pants Brewing, only serving out a window of their tap room.  Ok so it was funky fun, and we were in the mountains.  Atmosphere gets a 3.

As for Selection, there were 3 choices on the day we visited (I believe they normally have more)   We shared the Summer Wheat Ale, which was pretty good.  Selection gets a 1.

Branding is basically non-existent.  No website, their Facebook page is stale as is their Instagram.  They did however have a sticker (similar to their sign, below).  Branding gets a 1 and I don't think Mr. Grumpy Pants cares.

As for price, the only option was a 20 oz mug for $10, which we shared.   It seemed pricey at the time but that's $5 per 10oz, pretty average. Price gets a 3.
