Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Starry Eyed Brewing Company

Our five-tap flight

After attending the Little Falls Craft Fair we headed north about 2 miles to visit Starry Eyed Brewing, which opened in 2017. It was a bustling Saturday afternoon, and a beautiful day in central Minnesota.  They had lines out the building waiting for taps, with picnic tables both inside and out, as well as outdoor games. Very friendly staff, if not slightly overwhelmed with the crowd.  Ambiance gets a 3.

Starry Eyed has a fairly large selection, with a great mix options consisting of over 40 beers, selzers and ciders. We shared a flight as we knew we had an hour ride back home.  I totally enjoyed the Tapfoolery Lemon Baco-Peño, a spicy lemon bacon Pilsner, and Tim favored the Tapfoolery Lindy Hopped Blood Orange, an IPA, rating it a 3.5/5 in Untapped.  Selection gets a 4.
There is no individual images nor creative naming for the brews, with just the one 'eye' logo.  Even though Starry Eyed opened in 2017, their website is quite immature, with hardly any images.  Their Instagram page is also sparse, used to post events and food trucks, with very few if any images of beer.  Branding gets a 2.

As for price, a flight was $11, with the sticker $2.  The flight is slightly above average so Price gets a 2.  Overall a nice place to stop on a sunny afternoon.
