Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Dirty Oar Beer Company

Dirty Oar Beer Company; Cocoa, FL

Before leaving the Canaveral area during our Florida Rally Road Trip we met our Florida friends at one of their favorites, the Dirty Oar Beer Company just across the Cocoa Beach Causeway in Cocoa.  I had the Porch Fire Kolsch, flavored with Strawberry and Habanero. In fact I had two I enjoyed it so much.  Tim had two of the sours; the AntiSirus Sour Ale (lime and jalapeno) and the Bada Bing Sour Ale (with maraschino bing cherry flavor).   Tim thought both of his sours were really good and was surprised at how the one with jalapeƱo went down so fast.

As for branding - really like the images in and around their space, especially the graphics on the beer menu and the beer garden.  What I don't like is that their website points you to their Facebook page, but it is pretty robust.  I get that it's a lot for a small company to maintain both - but they definitely need to amp up their online presence.
From a price perspective most of the 16oz taps were $6.50,  slightly above average.

We enjoyed the beer garden and it was definitely warm enough to 'force' us to buy our first pint koozies!
