Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Craft Advisory Brewing

Craft Advisory Brewing; Ocean Springs, MS

During our four days in Biloxi, we met a couple from Hattiesburg, Mississippi that frequented the area, and asked about local places to have a casual outdoor meal.  They advised to hit up the Ocean Springs area, and specifically, the Government St Grocery, a  "chill watering hole".  It just so happens Craft Advisory Brewing is right down the street.

I had the East Beach Light Lager - very tasty and great on a warm beachy day.  Tim opted for more sours from Craft Advisory's Pelagic (indicating "relating to the open sea") Sour Series, including the Passion Fruit and the Guava. Tim really enjoyed both, rating the Passion Fruit his favorite sour so far (as in relative to all sours he's ever had). So good that he had to get a six-pack to go.

The indoor space was quite sparse - the best seating is on the expansive patio space.

As for branding - cute logo and the brew names are all in line with the nautical theme.  They do not have designs/logos for the brews.  Their website is pretty minimal, and I don't believe they offered any merchandise such as koozies or t-shirts.

From a price perspective, 10oz was $5.50, while a pint was $7, which is slightly above average.
P.S. We did enjoy our outdoor meal at Government Street Grocery.
