Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Tombstone Brewing Company

Tombstone Brewing Company; Tombstone, AZ

Cherry Pie, a sour, and a Bavarian Pils

During our month in Tucson, we took a road trip down to Bisbee and Tombstone.  After our brief time in Bisbee we stopped in at Tombstone Brewing Company located on the edge of the historic town, with great indoor and outdoor spaces. It was a quiet, rainy Wednesday. Very nice beertender, and cute Puppies.  Ambiance gets a 3.

Tombstone had eight brews on tap, with a good variety.  I had the Bavarian Pils which was enjoyable, while Tim had the Cherry Pie, a sour, which he rated 3.75/5 on Untappd.  Selection gets a 3.

Tombstone does designs for several of their taps, but in the tap house you only see them on the cans in the cooler.  Their Instagram is mostly used to announce events.   We were told they had a cool t-shirt design, but the only clothing we saw in was on the beertender.  The sticker was  $1 Branding gets a 3.

My Pilsner pint was $6, while the 10oz sour was $5, which is pretty average.  Price gets a 3.
