Winter 24: A Month in Texas

LazyG Brewhouse

LazyG Brewhouse; Prescott, AZ
Sunshine Blonde, a blonde ale, and Raspberry Trailer Tart, a sour

LazyG Brewhouse is located a few blocks south of Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott.  Their taproom is located in an older industrial area, in a renovated building with garage doors facing south.  Great indoor space, with a ‘trailer park’ theme to their designs.  That always gets me.  Ambiance gets a 4.

Their selection is quite robust from lagers to hoppy IPAs, several sours as well as guest brews.  I had the Sunshine Blonde, a blonde ale and  Tim had the Raspberry Trailer Tart, a sour. He rated it a XX in Untapped.  Selection gets a 4.

We did not see any brew specific branding in the in tap room nor on their website.  There is a large area for their pretty significate selection of merchandise.  Their website is decent but I'd like to see more imagery.  Same with the Instagram account, which is used a lot to post weekly specials.  Branding gets a 3.

Price  of the 16oz of the blonde ale was $6.50, and the 13oz of sour was $8. A bit high, even for the area. Prices gets a 2.
