Bad Beat Brewing: Henderson, NV
Blueberry Gose |
Bad Beat Brewing is located in an industrial park, as part of the Henderson Booze District. Bad Beat has a decent interior space, with two picnic tables for outside seating. A few patrons were enjoying their taps indoors. Ambiance was a 2.
Bad Beat has four year round brews partnered with eight rotational brews. I had the Gose Mose, a Gose with tangerine and grapefruit puree, which I found nice and refreshing. Tim had the Quarantine Gose Bye Bye, a Blueberry Gose and he rated it a 4.25/5 in Untapped. No Pilsner nor Lager was available the day we visited. Selection gets a 3.
When it comes to branding, Bad Beat has done a decent job. A great example of providing a back story to the name! They have nice individual branding for their beers on their website (see below) however did seeing a lot in the brewery or on their minimal available merchandise. Perhaps a lost opportunity? Bad Beat's website and Instagram site is fairly robust, with a focus on images of the beer (duh!). Sticker was $1. Branding 3.
A 16oz tap was $7 which is a bit on the high side overall, but as we found was pretty average for Las Vegas. Price gets a 3.
