During our three days in Austin we took backroads from Emma Long Metro Park through several upscale Austin neighborhoods to get to Oasis Texas Brewing Company, on the shores of Lake Travis, a part of the Colorado River (the one in Texas). First of all - what a view. And the sun was just setting as we got our first round. Amazing. We normally only use our own photos but I just had to post this one above from The Oasis website - giving them full credit of course! The Oasis is the entire shopping and events center, while the brewery is on the top floor.
Tim enjoyed the Sapphire Samurai Lager, while I had the Sunset Cerveza. All of the beer was excellent, with friendly service and an above average pricing per pint. I liked that their brew list not only the style, but also a brief description.
As for branding - interesting design for brewery as well as designs for each brew. They do have a fairly robust website design, however the merchandise link was not working.
Definitely worth a revisit should we be in Austin again.
