Winter 24: A Month in Texas

Waco Ale Company

Waco Ale Company; Waco, TX

During a three day stay in Waco, TX, one of the last legs of our Florida Rally Road Trip, we found Waco Ale Co. (the acronym for which is W.A.CO).  The brewery is located downtown Waco, with limited seating outdoors.

I had the Bear Bones, an  American Style Pilsner.  It was good - not amazing.  Tim had the 7th Day IPA, with Tangerine, Grapefruit, Passion Fruit, and Pine.  Tim really enjoyed it; very tasty.  Their selection that day was minimal, although if you search for Waco Ale on Untapped, they have an extensive list.

As for branding - very simple with a basic logo for each of the brews.  They do have a website, but it is out of date and as of the posting date some of the brew logos/images did not work.

From a price perspective most of the taps were $6,  just about average.
